ABOUT AARON

Aaron Weaver’s connection to Hampton runs deep and lifelong. Born in Newport News, Virginia, and raised in Hampton, Aaron’s journey through the city’s educational system—from Hampton University Laboratory School to Hampton High School, and ultimately graduating from Hampton University as part of Onyx 7, Class of 2008—laid the foundation for his unwavering commitment to excellence. It was at Hampton University where Aaron’s dedication to service, leadership, and advocacy was nurtured, shaping the path he continues to walk today.

Aaron’s professional career began with a climb to a management position at a Fortune 100 telecommunications company. In this role, he mastered store leadership, budget management, and workforce development, all while embracing the strategic use of data and technology. These experiences not only honed Aaron’s skills as a leader but also deepened his understanding of effective governance and strategic planning—key components in his approach to public service.
